Polk County Community Recreation Facility
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID:

JM Cope, Inc. will receive sealed proposals from qualified firms for the new Polk County Community Recreation Facility on July 14, 2026 by 2:00PM for the following trade packages: BP1334 – Pre-Engineered Metal Building.

All bids will be received, opened, and read publicly at the Womack Building located at 40 Courthouse Street, Columbus, NC 28722. Bids will not be accepted from bidders that are not prequalified. No facsimile or email submissions are permitted. Sealed Bids are to be hand delivered to the bid opening location on July 14, 2026, before 2:00pm or by delivering sealed bids to the JM Cope Hickory office located at 346 9th St. SE Hickory NC, 28602 by 3:00pm the day prior.

A Prebid Meeting will be held in person on June 30, 2026 at 2:00pm at the Womack Building located at 40 Courthouse Street, Columbus, NC 28722. After the Prebid meeting, an opportunity to visit and walk the site will be made available.

Bid Documents can be viewed or downloaded through J.M. Cope’s public planroom at https://JMCOPE.PIPELINESUITE.COM, after Monday, June 15, 2026.

All Bidders are strongly encouraged to include opportunities for Minority Business participation wherever possible in their respective Bid submission. Minority Business participation and good faith efforts are a part of this contract and must comply with all requirements set forth in the Bid Documents.
